• December 20, 2006 - Preliminary meeting to discuss need for a plan - non-official
• April 4, 2007 - Preliminary meeting to discuss method to develop a plan - non-official
• April 18, 2007 Ways & Means Meeting to develop Resolution by Board of Legislators for creation of a Comprehensive Planning Committee.
• May 14, 2007 Board of Legislators Meeting approving the resolution to create the Comprehensive Planning Committee.
• May 15, 2007 Comprehensive Planning Committee
• May 16, 2007 Ways & Means Meeting
• May 29, 2007 Board of Legislators Meeting Resolution 108-07.
• May 29, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• June 5, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• June 21, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting

• July 24 Legislative District Meetings Almond for District V - Complete
• July 31 Legislative District Meeting Belmont for District II - Complete

• August 15 Allegany County Planning Board Picnic @ the Crossroads Conference Center for local planning board members, Town Supervisors and Village Mayors. - Complete
• August 21 Legislative District Meeting Wellsville for District IV - Complete
• September 18, 2007- Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• October 25, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• November 12, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• November 26, 2007 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• February 11, 2008 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• March 3, 2008 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting
• March 31, 2008 - Comprehensive Planning Committee Meeting

April 14, 2008 - Plan was presented to the Board of Legislators for their consideration.

April 2008 - Send out copies of the plan to all 29 Towns and 10 Villages and other agencies as needed.

April - May 2008 - SEQR study done with County Legislature as lead agency and with professional input from County Attorney.

May/June 2008 - Public Hearing date set for adoption of Plan.

June 2008 - Public Hearing held for adoption of Plan.

June 2008 - Final adoption of Allegany County’s Comprehensive Plan.
