Allegany County Planning Board

The Allegany County Planning Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm to discuss local planning issues and review SEQR, Zoning and other application and amendments referred by local planning boards. The ACPB meets at the Crossroads Commerce and Conference Center on NYS Route 19 just north of Exit 30 from I-86. Members on this board include:

** The Allegany County Planning Board presently has openings for new members.  A letter of interest is requested by any interested people be mailed to the Allegany County Planner for consideration.

May 2010 meeting is moved from it's regular night to May 26th, and will be held at the Alfred University Powell Campus Center after the Special presentations in the Knight Club on Walkability and Smart Design.  This event will be starting at 5:30 pm and conclude at 8 pm.  The Planning Board meeting will be held immediately after.

The June 2010 meeting will be held at the Caucus Room in the County Office Building directly adjacent to the Legislative Chambers on June 16, 2010 at 5:30 pm.  This meeting will be followed by the DEC Public Hearing on Outdoor Wood Burning Furnaces at 6:00 pm.

Towns and Villages, etc are requested to get their application/referrals to the board at least 10 business days prior to the next monthly meeting. Referrals are requested to use the Referral Form HERE

Generally this board does not meet in July unless there is a very important issue.
